Installing the OpenSKS keyserver on Debian like machines

I’ve been trying to install a PGP keyserver for some time, then found sks.

It’s in the Ubuntu repositories, so actually installing it is a breeze :

# sudo apt-get install sks

However, configuring it is a little more complicated, here are the steps I took :

Zimbra 5 & 6 on Debian 5 i386

Install Debian 5

Zimbra 6

Install required packages

# aptitude install sudo libidn11 libpcre3 libexpat1 libstdc++5 sysstat

Edit the host file

# vi /etc/hosts ip.add.re.ss hostname.domain.tld hostname

Download Zimbra 6

# wget http://…/zcs-6.0…DEBIAN5…tgz

Extract the archive

# tar xzf zcs-6.0…DEBIAN5…tgz

Install Zimbra 6
